The next generation of Wi-Fi connectivity is 802.11ac, and routers are on sale now to provide the signal. The main problem? There are, literally, no laptops, tablets, or smartphones right now that sell with 802.11ac support built-in. Still, you have the opportunity to future-proof your wireless setup in anticipation for the arrival of the super-fast standard, and the Belkin AC1200 Dual Band Wireless AC Gigabit Router is one of the first available. We got one in for review, and we are in the process of putting it through its paces. In the meantime, while you wait for the AC1200 review, check out our Belkin AC1200 DB unboxing gallery, showing off the spaceship-like curves of the router. You can pick one up now on Amazon.

The white and silver iPhone 5 is more akin to the iPhone 4S than the black and slate model, mostly due to the color of the antenna frame. Still, there are plenty of differences that make the iPhone 5 that much more striking than the 4S that came before it. Our review of the iPhone 5 is just about ready for publication, but in the meantime, we've gather a bunch of images of the chamfered white iPhone 5 body for your perusal in our iPhone 5 White & Silver unboxing gallery. Be sure to also check out our iPhone 5 Black & Slate unboxing gallery while you wait for our iPhone 5 review to drop later this evening.

The iPhone 5 is all the rage right now, and we'll have our thorough review up in just a few hours. In the meantime, we've put up an image gallery showing off the black & slate model. This is the one that's features a black anodized bezel and rear metal backing to match the dark glass. It's quite beautiful, but prone to scraches and scuff. Head on over to our iPhone 5 Black & Slate unboxing gallery for all the goodness, and keep it locked here for our full review later today.

Nexus 7 tablet

We cover a bunch of products in our unboxing section and on Unboxing Live, and we've gotta say that we're intrigued by how frustratingly bad the experience seems to be when trying to open up your new Google Nexus 7 tablet, made by Asus. Our unit got delayed and won't be in the office until next week, but in the meantime, check out the hard times that others have had trying to get the Nexus 7 tablet out of the box in the video compilation after the break. Oh, and don't forget--we're giving away a Nexus 7 this week!
